They might be okay for HT. That seems like a BIG woofer for such a small cabinet.

They didnt sound too bad from what i remember, best buy used to sell them. Most likely better suited for ht use.

HT is probably what they were primarily intended for. Irrc, most manufactureres had something similar for a while. I have a set of Infinity IL60s that have a 500 watt side firering sub in each. I think they sound great, but they are better suited for HT. I dont know if they're worth $200, but for HT they're probably not too bad a speaker.
