Very nice mid eighties Zenith CV680 cd player made with mostly Mitsubishi chips. Brushed aluminum faceplate. Heavy, great sounding and rare. Quality.

Big thing with Zenith. This is a post 1979, post Chicago receiver. When GoldStar was building the last of their audio products. Zenith's forte was Radio, TV, compact and console Stereo HiFi. Which is why they're uncommon. The Sansui you speak of was also far higher end, built before overdesign, and cost cutting. And also cost far more money new. This Zenith nee GoldStar is decent, but no Sansui from their best era.
That's a JVC XL-V300B. I have a silver one! Mine was built in 1984! Still working after 35 years!
