Hey, it is just another tweak for tube based audio.

What could possibly go wrong?

How could they not work better now that they are all cleaned up.

Behold! An area of audio restoration that I had never thought of. I have a large box of tubes in their boxes. I can see that I will be busy restoring them this weekend. Watch for me in Barter Town...

Enjoy,
Rich P

His tube are now vacuumed tubes.

He used his shop vacuum to clean up the broken glass and the tubes them selves.

Wow, what a good idea he has, it just makes so much sense to me. :D:D:D

I did a search of NY craigers for "vaccum". Simply shocking how many listings use this "alternate" spelling.

This is as stupid as the 50'' Emerson LED TV someone is trying to offload for $900. I'm sorry, what? I can get a 4k tv at that price, instead of a $300 Wal-Mart hunk of junk.

I cleaned all my tubes like this. I mean hell the improvements were amazing. Not only did the sound improve but those drapes my wife had over the amps burned down that I hated. I think it's really a win/win.

He says they may still work,so I think $50 is a bargain.Hell ,you could turn your listening room into a vacuum chamber and be good to go,plus your tubes are clean as a whistle.

Does that mean I can take teh glass off the 811 with the getter floating around inside, that shorted teh tube out,,, and just glue it back in place?

The only thing more interesting is how it's possible to pull up a Craigslist ad that's nigh 6 years old...:headscrat
