No affiliation, I'd think they're worth quite a bit more.

And to complete this post so tomorrow when it is gone folks here will know WTF strabo was pointing out.

KLH Model Nine electrostat speakers working - $400 (Aubrey)
Speakers work great. Taking some space back. Audition available for serious buyer.
Audiophile from the 60's. Steroephile gave them rave review. trades are welcome

With one measly picture showing a Mc tube amp on the floor and most of a single speaker. A google images of the KLH Nine will provide more/better pics.

That's a heck of a price for a pair of good working KLH9s! I'd have them myself if they were anywhere near me - it would save me a bunch of work.
I have doubled 9s, but one of the crossovers has been acting up and it's a PITA to melt out all the potting wax to service them, so they've been cast off to the workshop until further notice.

BTW, if someone here is interested, they should know that although the tweeters are standard JansZen squares (available quite readily, and RtRs will work in a pinch), the bass panels were proprietary. They are pretty robust, but figured it's worth mention that in case one should fail, cannibalizing another KLH9 is the only source for spares. I've never needed one, but have collected half dozed over the years, just in case!
