A College radio should have some relevance to its locale. The urge to serve the universe is strong but should be tempered.
Notwithstanding I am really enjoying "The Alternate Side" put out by Fordham University. I did not know I could find modern pop entertaining.

Absolutely agreed. Also - minor point - but radio is somehow less interesting to me if I don't know where it's from. I like to know that what I'm tuning in is next door, or from France/Africa/outer space.
