The headshell is just some generic one that I had. I can't find markings on it anywhere. I have a couple other generics that are pretty lame but this one is actually pretty stout and well made.

I'm still debating whether or not to add the emblem. If I do, I'll have to find that thread discussing which vendor on the Bay is the one to use. I understand the quality can be hit or miss.

Maybe @StuartB or @Hose53 could help me out? Hmmm...

From a few years ago .. I remember getting an XA on sale in HS .. might have gotten it at Radio Shack .. glad to have this classic turntable back again.. The Fisher is from a neighbor who was cleaning out her basement .. I was able to get it back to life largely due to advice and guidance from all the philosopher kings here on AK..

Received Dave’s new pivot bearing screws and delighted to fine a good source for these scarce parts. The pivots are made to a higher standard than the original and fit nicely. The pivot screws are slightly longer so depending on which bearings you use in the spindle pivot, original delrin sleeve, sapphire or ball bearing, they may stick out more than the original, but will be easier to access to adjust. No more buggered up pivot screws!

Looks like I'm late to the party but I've always wanted an XA since I saw one in my 8th grade Vocal Music class decades ago.

This XA was pretty rough so I sanded/stained/polyurethane the plinth and took the base plate down to the body shop where they painted it with whatever color they were spraying at the time. A couple new capacitors, some oil, new cork mat, a tonearm stand with a clasp and I'm good!
