I had one Ampex U-Matic tape that I had to bake twice for about a 16 hour total time before it would play correctly. So far, I have not had to bake any Scotch, Sony, or Fuji U-Matics, only the Ampex ones. I don't have any experience with Agfa tapes.

I finally got around to baking a this problem U-Matic. Sixteen hours at 130 degrees and it plays perfectly. Thanks for the tip.
