I have a pair...... currently not in use. They got rotated out quite quickly, but not because they sound bad...... I just got another set of speakers shortly after, if I recall correctly........ only so much room in the living room


I just saw the price..... I'd pass.

I have two pair both the E and the E2

I sort of question whether those are original drivers though I recall another e2 thread where someone had similar and they felt they confirmed they were original. While I think they're a great little two way, unless you have a specific use such as a kids system etc I don't think you're gaining anything over what you already have.


I also find that tweeter to be very directional. If you're in the sweet spot the instruments open up all around you but if you're off axis even a little bit that's totally lost. Your EPI 100 has a much great sound spread and to me is a superior speaker.

that's why i'm not sure from the other thread I recall someone also had very early model e's and they didnt have the metal tweeter cover with the embossed ohm logo

The woofer is completely different, too. The E2 is ported, and the earlier version is not.
