Ok, Does this Dynaco MK 3 work with Wilson Audio Watt 3 / Puppy 2 ?

Nice dogs, we unfortunately had to put our Boerboel down about 6 months ago:(..her stomach got twisted up somehow, and could not find a vet to do surgery in time.
The bummer of having pets.
Oh man I’m sorry to hear that . It’s rare to find someone that owns another Boerboel let alone that has heard of one. Do you know how her stomach got twisted up ?

We don't know, the vet said it can happen with big dogs, can't remember if "older" was part of the equation, might of been chasing the cat. She was about 8 yrs, poor girl.

A neighbour ended up giving us an Alabai pup, right before she passed, there is another dog many might not recognise.

Get a real amp. SETs won't touch your speakers.

I'm talking 300+ WPC under 4 ohms. Your speakers have an electrostat-like inpedence curve; almost no one running electrostats bother with tubes. You like tube sound?

Cool sorry bro. Hope you can find a really strong SS amp with a similar sound signature.

At least running a tube pre will give some tube flavour.

Ah I see . Yeah I do know that bigger dogs are prone to that happening, I’ve read that it’s usually when they eat or drink allot and then run around or exercise afterwards.
I have heard of the Alabai’s that’s another rare one around these parts . I’m glad you were able to get another pup but I know nothing will replace the one you had .

Yes, and a tubed pre is totally appropriate in this case, but they either need to go SS power amp or have a $3k+ used tube amp budget, and considerable patience.
For sh#ts and giggles, I have run big triodes with my 5s, they have some nice detail but not enough weight behind it, wont get the puppies going.
AR VT100, was pretty good, but yes, big SS power is what they like. I run a MF Tri Vista in the summer months.

You should run that TriVista is the winter to get your room nice and warm lol , I know when mine gets going those big heatsinks can get my room pretty toasty.
