Okay, $199,999.00? Really?

[dyche01]

Is this lunacy or money laundering?

Pffft...
How does that Supertramp song go ?

Dreamer, you're nothing but a dreamer.

[markshan]

Don't you guys get it yet? The high price puts his ad to the top of the list where he goes fishing for offers outside of eBay.

Dreamer, you know you are a dreamer
Well can you put your hands in your head, oh no!
I said dreamer, you're nothing but a dreamer
Well can you put your hands in your head, oh no!
I said "far out, what a day, a year, a life it is!"
You know, well you know, you had it comin' to you
Now, there's not a lot I can do
Dreamer, you stupid little dreamer
So now you put your head in your hands, oh no

You can pick up a 'brand new in box' one from him for less if you can resist the fabulous cabinet shown in the OPs original link.

Oh, okay. I get that now.

[sixthday]

Sucker fishing, no worry. There is always someone thinking the more expensive the better.

[toxcrusadr]

C'mon guys, it's free shipping!

[1ontop=]

I was thinking about offering 199,998.99

[aldread]

He likes to tell people that he has over a million $ of stuff listed on ebay....

[Dswankey]

I like that the picture is in the lot of what looks like a storage facility he just got it from.

[jheu02]

I'm guessing he's hoping someone mistakenly hits purchase so that he can sue for breach of contract when the buyer realizes what happened.

[Jenkster]

His listed location is Sunnyvale, CA which is Apple country. He's probably just trying to make rent as real estate is off the chart. My wife's from there. Her parents bought their home in 1966 for $20k. Sold it in 08 for $1.8 million in two days.

[SoundOfSound]

Looks like he has it in a public storage locker.
