I saw that on the NFL channel, and I'm glad they decided to show it three times over... that was simply amazing!

The "flip" that Randall Cobb did in the season opener as part of his 108-yard return was sort of special, too, but it wasn't completely vertical, and he got some assistance from a teammate to keep going. This one was in a whole different league -- this guy's not just a football player, he's an extreme acrobat!

Perhaps the greatest end-zone leap I've ever seen, and one that illustrates well just what kind of athletes one can find in the NFL. Imagine how many more Olympic gold medals the US might win, if there were no professional football? (Personally, I'd much rather have the NFL, and no additional gold medals! )

Oh yeah, I saw that during the Seahawks game yesterday, (they showed the clip a few times too) but forgot to post here at AK about it. Pretty amazing, I would have broken my neck if I tried it, most likely.

It's an amazing feat.And,its not just a physical act.You're mind has to be making decisions in a millionth of second... to realize in mid air that you have the momentum to complete the rotation and land on your feet.........like I said,amazing.

Simpson was/is a track and field guy so these feats are nothing new for him.I look for more if the Bengals continue in the playoffs.

I'd been waiting years to see it done.
I think there are a number of players who could do it-just need the "right" moment.
It's like the "rooks" say; the biggest difference between college and the pro's is the speed/athleticism.
