Moved too far away to make it happen either time this year...hoping to see some of people's finds, and also hoping for May.
One Week until the HUGE Kutztown, PA Vntg Electronics Extravaganza on September 18th & 19th, 2026 !

My nearby booth buddy, @kve777 , setup 10 tables in his booths. He sold about 6 tables worth, of mostly solid state stuff, on Friday !
On Saturday, sales were slow, so he packed only a few valuable speakers and gear for the ride home, then offered anything left on any of his ten tables for FREE ! That was a generous offering !
By 9AM, Saturday, he condensed all remaining stuff to one table ! A little after 10:30 AM, he was gone and the table was empty.
'Twas quite a sight watching what was ten, full tables, on Friday, becoming one table, early Saturday morning. His van must have liked the lower weight on the ride home.

I didn’t win them but was at the auction. As I recall they ended up being pretty expensive, and the largest transformers weren’t actually a matched pair! I don’t think they went to an AKer (at least as far as I know).
It was another great show! Went up with a friend of mine and we both brought a bunch to sell. I was surprised by what people were interested in this time around. I brought a lot of things that I thought I’d have to end up giving away, but were bought immediately while the “better” stuff I had ended up coming home with me or was pretty much given away. For example I ended up selling a Pioneer tube receiver for $10 just so I wouldn’t have to take it home!
Of course I also ended up buying a bunch of stuff as usual (being near @kve777 table is a dangerous thing!) See you all in the spring!

Unfortunately, John Hagman usually seems to pass up most audio oriented tables.
I was surprised to see the three pics of the Microphone specialist booths. Six HiFi audio booths are next to the Mic guy. The one HiFi table he did include, is directly across the aisle from those six....
Still, his photo collections are quite alluring.
John does have a "good, artistic eye."
Next year's shows are scheduled for
May 7th & 8th, plus
September 17th & 18th, 2027.

I was a bit unhappy because he skipped over any German radios... ;-)
There didn't appear to be many...
any luck selling the Citation II? if you sold that stupid cheap I'd be upset just because I didn't end up with it. Need another amp like I need a hole in the head but I'd make an exception for a cheap Cit 2.
surprised that Pioneer got no traction. I admit I looked at it for a second but I've got way too much stuff already. Actually working on doing some bodywork on a chassis for an amp I'm building now out of transformers that I bought at Kutztown in the spring.
Unfortunately no, that one I was firm on price on and got surprisingly little interest (not even any offers!) Everyone seemed to want to take pics of it though…
Having never attended, my impression from the photos is that the meet is basically old radios and ham equipment.

Not so, at all ! The show is, at least, half "vintage electronics." The spring show, in early May, was, at least, half AUDIO related !
In summary, what began as an Antique Radio Show in 1998, has branched out to become the largest "Vintage Electronics" show in the USA.
At this show, I saw three Dynaco Stereo 70s, four Dyna PAS, one ST-35, one Citation II, one Lafayette KT-550, some McIntosh, over 50 portable record players, including over 40 plastic portable record players, many FM tuners, many solid state Receivers, dozens of wooden speakers of all vintages, and hundreds and hundreds of vacuum tubes, just to give you a taste....
There were also solid state parts, portable radios of all types, including more than a few, large, "boom box" AM/FM/Cassette Players.
Folks come from all over the USA and Canada, judging from license plates and folks' accents. I saw license plates from California, Tennessee, Ohio, Massachusetts, Florida, South Dakota, Quebec, Montreal, New York, New Jersey, Nevada, Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, and then some.
This show is well worth anyone's time for the journey ! Just make sure you get there for the Friday opening, for the best assortment.
If you can purchase a booth, or buddy up with a friend for a booth, you can get in with the earliest opening, at 0800 when we set up. Booths were available at this Fall show, the day of the event, but the Spring show is usually Sold Out in advance. All the info is at www.renningers.net .
Another possibility is to pre-arrange with a known exhibitor-vendor, to be his/her "helper."
However, the vendor must also pre-arrange your name/license plate state, with the Renningers staff, to get you in early, as a helper.
While the Kutztown show continues to grow as the largest venue for our hobby, the Dayton Hamfest continues to be the largest Hamfest in the country.
BTW, it took nearly 15 years to convince the stodgy, antique radio club, to include the words "Vintage Electronics" or "Antique Radio & Audio Show."
