Never heard of this brand. google and found few, but good reviews. Is it worth 150 in excellent condition with original box and manual? I could use a very nice cd player. Or should I spend that money on a new one?

Onix makes nice boutique stuff. I had an amp of theirs for a while and it sounded good and was well made.

Apparently this CD player is fairly well regarded and was available for about $400 in 08.

My only concerns would be if there were lots of hours on the laser and if the transport had been abused.

See if you can't get it for $100 but 150 is probably fair.

That being said I have a Denon DVD player I picked up in a thrift for $15 that has excellent Burr Brown chips and SDCD capability. It sounds very good but not as good as my $2K Shanling did

Good luck

Eric

Actually it says here it has a Philips transport and Burr Brown chips.

I'd give it a whirl.
