Onkyo A-9010

Any thoughts on this entry level amp? I currently use the Pioneer A-20. I have seen reviews of the Onkyo as being voiced as a "warm" British throwback. This sounds intriguing to me and might be a nice pairing with my Wharfedale Denton 80th speakers. Any thoughts welcome.

While I can't speak for the new gear, but in the vintage world, Pioneer seem to be a bit more brighter sounding than the Onkyo gear did.

The A-9010 gets good review over at Steve Hoffman forums. I don't know if it would be a drastic difference over the Pioneer though but you do gain an internal DAC

I love my Onkyo A-9050 quite a bit. It sounds very good , and the DAC makes my Sony CD changer sound way better. The A-9010 should be good too. Peace and goodwill.
