Hello, I picked up this Onkyo and it's been working as a manual turntable. I'm trying to repair the auto function. The small gear that touches the motor was stripped so I replaced that.
Now that all the gears are turning, I'm seeing that the rubber wheel isn't turning when it's supposed to. That rubber wheel is the final step that actually get's the tone arm to move.
I can get the wheel to move fine manually it just won't spin when that brass part is trying to get it to spin. Is there a way to troubleshoot that or does the rubber wheel need to be replaced?
