Onkyo Integra A-809 Blowing Fuses

Hi all, I recently picked up this A-809 in unknown condition for $25. I figured for the price, it may be worth the troubleshooting project. I knew that it at least had the well known input selector issue, but it also appears to have a short somewhere. After opening I immediately saw that the main 7A fuse was blown, and upon replacing, all new ones are blowing once the power button is pressed as well. As my knowledge on these things is incredibly limited, I do have some experience with a soldering iron and multimeter. I'm hoping that the kind folks here could possibly supply some guidance on where to start hunting down where this short may be. Thanks to all in advance!

Buy or build a dim bulb tester, without it you cannot properly troubleshoot.

First place to look is shorted output transistors. If one or more is shorted to ground, check drivers for shorts. Check for burnt resistors are swollen capacitors too.
