No sound ouput, neither zone nor headphone output. Performed vid1/standby reset, tried multiple inputs.
Powers on, all front controls responsive, all relays operational, amp drivers and finals test good - no shorts anyway. Caps are visually good, spot checked several around the linear regulator heat sink where they were suspected to possibly cook. TO-220 regulators all seem to be outputting properly, thinking may tie back to digital volume/input selector chip NJW1157BF, seems rather sloppily mounted, relative to others of this era. DPS chip is a cirrus logic with legs, so no bad 'ball-joints' in this unit. Spent couple hours going over the boards touching up suspect looking joints, but I'm about at the bottom of my bag of tricks. This was an awesome piece of equipment, built like a tank and sounded great, hate to ditch it over something stupid I'm missing.
