Ordered a Stylus from LP Gear May 22, Still waiting

Has anyone ordered recently from LP Gear?

I ordered a JICO SAS for my M91ED which was listed as "In Stock" at the time of order back on 5.22.11. I sent them an email on 6.2.11 asking if the order had shipped as I never received the stylus or any sort of shipping confirmation. They have not replied to my email. It was a 'reply' to their order confirmation so I know I have supplied them with the necessary information and sent it to the correct address. They don't provide a phone number so email is my only contact.

Has anyone here had problems communicating with them? Any history of orders taking weeks to ship?

Nope but I've been trying to email Jico for awhile regarding one of my purchases, distortion, but no reply yet and way pass the 7 day mark for return.

Aw jeez. I've occasionally read reports like this about LPGear...
Communication is apparently very poor from that vendor.
 
I sent a second email this morning. Just received a reply. They say that the order from Japan just arrived and they will be shipping my stylus today. Pretty slow for a part they had listed as in stock. At the time I ordered there were two or three types listed as "Out of Stock"...

I ordered from LP Gear because they are stateside. I was hoping for quicker shipping and better availability of costumer service. Guess it doesn't matter. I ordered my JICO Shibata directly from JICO and it was here in 8 days. Never had to deal with JICO's customer service.
 
Elex Atelier in Las Vegas, NV lists LPgear and LPtunes as affiliates of their company. They also have a website that sells similar products: ELEX ATELIER

I haven't had any problems with LPGear but some folks have previously cited poor communication or slow delivery.

I know this isn't a recent thread, but I wanted to share my experience here.

I ordered a new AT120E on 2-2-2012, and it arrived today in the mail. I'd say 4 days is fairly quick.

I also ordered my JICO SAS from LPGEAR and had no problems.

It's just a guess, but when you ordered the JICO it was right after the big earthquake in Japan and it's quite possible that LPGEAR did not have them in stock and was dependent on them from Japan to fill oreders.Your order might have been overlooked.But no reply to your order query is unacceptable.

I can also attest that their email replies are almost non existent.
