original cartrage

What would the original cartrage be for a Pioneer PL-15D II ? or a good replacement at a decent price?

It's listed as a PC-30. Unless you are restoring the tt for a museum, there's no logical reason to go back to original cartridges. Most, as in this case, were entry level requiring excessive tracking forces, original replacement styli are non-existent and substitutes run hot and cold. Makes more sense to get a new cartridge. You stated "decent price" which is a relative term, but I'm assuming you mean a decent, budget cartridge. In that case I think the AT-95E fits the bill perfectly.
