output transformer impedance

Hi,

following this thread:
http://www.audiokarma.org/forums/showthread.php?t=413705

i ordered all the caps for the amp.

Looking at the sam's photofact, i'm curious about the output transformers.

they are listed as:
Primary: 5000ohmsCT
secondary 3-4 ohms.

this is a push pull amp. i think the transformer should be 10kOhms.
Maybe 5000ohmsCT means 5kohms to center tap? and the total impedance for the transformer is 10kohms?

hey-Hey!!!,
It was not clear from the first few posts in the link if this amp is PPP or just single-pair PP with EL84's. I do agree that an 8-10k a-a load is likely to be better with a single pair of EL84.
cheers,
Douglas

Thanks PakProtektor.

is a single pair push-pull in each channel.

also from the schematics i have the operating conditions for each tube .

Plate voltage 310V
cathode voltage 2,5V
screen voltage 309V
Plate current 22,5mA
screen current 2,5mA
