Hi all,
I recently set up my Peachtree Audio Nova (the original model from 2009), and it seems as if the left channel is acting all out of whack. It’s incredibly quiet, and when the volume pot approaches midway, there’s an intense buzzing that peaks at the middle and then goes back down as the volume pot goes up. I’ve already made sure it’s not the wires or the speakers, so it has something to do with the left channel’s binding posts or something connected to that. When headphones are plugged in, there’s a similar problem, with buzzing in the left ear around the middle of the volume pot. The right channel sounds great, so there’s nothing to worry about there luckily. Does anyone have any recommendations as to what to try to get this amp up and running? I’m a total newbie when it comes to electronics, so I’ll provide more info if necessary in case I missed out on something. Thanks so much!
