Phase Linear P-580 speakers

When Pioneer purchased Phase Linear in the early 80's they rebadged some of their units with the Phase linear name. If you look at the vintage knob website you will see this exact same speaker listed under the Pioneer Exclusive line. The mid is Berrilyum with a system of suspension and the tweeter is Berrilyum ribbon very exotic stuff for its day and produced by the TAD division.

i don't search audio forums that much anymore. i guess i'm just content with what i have?
anywho, I OWN A PAIR OF Phase Linear P-580
bought them from an awesome fellow member a few years back. really clean. slight sun fading on one speaker, had the stands, casters still in their original boxes plus all the literature and the manuals (for both the speakers and the stands).
they sound BIG. honestly, i'm using my Yamaha NS-1000M again. simply because our living room is too small for the 580's. they imaged in the kitchen! i have no intentions of selling them though.
mine needed new surrounds. dan olson at audivex in Berkeley used JBL LE-15 surrounds and cut them to fit (the woofers are 14.5").
and there's a minor issue of a loose connection for one tweeter on the tri-amp panel. i gotta remove the panel and see what's going on...
