Same here.Good "entry level" parts-IMO.I think they're heftier than components you find in a lot of budget speakers these days.They'd make a neat pair of PC speakers.Have to agree with voltcontrol: good, but not exotic.
Yup,the tweeter was used in a lot of good designs,and by do-it-yourselfer's,too.

The Philips 544 MFB is a 3-way biamplified monitor speaker from the mid seventies. Every once and awhile I fire them up to make sure nothing's amiss with the amplification...they keep on "tickin'" after all these years with very powerful clean zounds.
