Phono cable buzzes even when plugged in?

Ok so before anything else I want to mention that I am not talking about the ground hum. I have this turntable that needed a new phono cable. However I didn't really have any cables laying around at the moment so I made my own. But now if the cable is plugged in and the position shifts slightly it starts buzzing. Only if I readjust thee cable again the sound goes away. What could the reason be? The tulip connector's I used aren't the most expensive ever, could that be the cause? I do recall having had cables before with similar connectors that didn't have this issue. I did some measuring and I couldn't find any shorts nor any cable issues.

maybe a cold solder joint. tough to say without more info.

I tried it with the cable desoldered from the tonearm circuitry but it still had the same issue. I also checked my soldering work on the connector's and it measures and looks fine but idk.
