With original JBL diaphragms that appears to be a good deal. Looking forward to your thoughts, comparisons.

I would Let John Wolf know you are going to use the 076's.
He might make a slight change to the Cross-overs he's making for your Paragon..

Wolff does his crossovers outboard, but we're going with an inboard design. I'm having the crossovers mailed right to John Warren for measuring

OK, John, says to keep at 7-8K to blend with the 375, also gave me some good advice on the caps. He says the 076 would need a different mounting but should sound great. Also says the JBL amp was very unique and very good (non-germanium), but apparently there's no direct replacement of a bad transistor...?

They’re going straight into the Paragon, after North Reading evaluates them.

More or less, Wolff says to keep with 7-8k. I have read 6k elsewhere. I trust Wolff. But the whole thing will be bespoke and I’ll report on the work here, along with specs, schematics, and pics.
