I dig those Ohm speakers!
I dig you Tannoy's.
Very cool and comfy looking space. Love the critters too!

The cats look like their plotting something.
Yes, and it involves the puppy and a box.
Holst..

cool listening room....is that a Mac light on the wall there? off of ebay?
Yes it's one of those.

Not a real lava lamp, it's full of water and floating beads with a small propeller that makes a tornado effect. My wife gave it to me for my birthday to go with my 50's scifi movie decor.

The Man-Cave prerequisite Lava Lamp was added!!!!

Very nice motor - I've only seen an Okrasa motor once in the flesh. Are you building it out as a 48HP model or stroking it?

FWIW - I used to rock a 1971 Type III Variant with a Gene Berg 1679cc motor.

-D

I have the Okrasa crank too. It will be 1300cc and have about 70-75hp.

Berg builds awesome engines!

this is an update to one of my earlier posts. pics aren't great but what the hell... and yes I like equalizers! :)

My latest system. Nothing special. Space efficient for my wife, value oriented for my budget. NAD, Epos, M&K.
The room needs a lot of work. It's way too reflective, with only 3 pcs large stuffed sofa's/chair and moderate size area rug to break up mostly bare walls, windows.

Sorry for the poor pics, but hopefully it will be ok. The DQ 10's are the 50.00 dollar ones picked up a few months back. Grill cloth was destroyed, wooden side panels nicked up and scratched. Cleaned up fairly well, plus the good part is that the pair are mirror imaged, yellow caps, new surrounds. 3 Sx- 1010's plus Sx 939 on top. Heresy book ends, Sony PS-X65 TT, Sony X7-ESD Cd player, In the wings Kenwood KR-9600, Sansui 8080, Yamaha CR-1020, CA 2010. couple of Marantz tuners. Kef Q-80 speakers, plus Large Advents for DQ-10 speaker stands

The Man Cave

Well,
I took a couple pics to give you a general idea of my space in what my wife calls my basement man cave! Pics of speakers taken separately to spare you from seeing the absolute mess on my computer desk between the speakers! Not the best of pics...but you can at least see what's crankin' here 7 nights a week. Hopefully the links work.
