Looking over the reclined for the picture recliner. Don't mind the mess on the end of my desk. Can't be helped. :D I'll shoot another and replace this one in a few days when my new amp is in the system. I'll try to remember to move the reading lamp (and clean off the end of my desk.

I just want to know how folks post the pics directly into their posts without the thumbnails....

Use a free hosting service like Photobucket. Upload you pic's to their site and copy the link as part of your post. Google them. There are others, but I do not know them.

I was embarrassed on Audiogon. It seems every photo has the same fancy carpet, rack, paint color, etc. Its like the room has to look as good as the equipment. I didn't see one New England looking room on the whole site. It's cookie cutter city. Well except for you Art...

Well I appreciate the exception...lol...and so does my wife. I must admit that their systems are so out of my league that I was embarrassed at first. Then I decided what the heck...I posted it under budget systems, however for me it was a stretch the budget to breaking system...

So many audio forums are all about showing off how much money you have. That's what I appreciate here. We have folks from every walk from wealthy to poor and we all have one thing in common and that's a love of the music and a desire to listen to it the best we can afford to.

I haven't listened to that main system in weeks, too busy enjoying the vintage geat that I've acquired. The stuff that I can actually afford without going into hawk.

I raise my glass to AK....:thmbsp:

Niiice, Ken! :thmbsp:

Just a thought... how many EL84's could a woodchuck chuck into a La Scalla? :scratch2:

I must understand your turntable isolation system :) BTW is that a KLH Model 8 I see in there?

Steve

Yeah.. I need to turn down my subs a little for albums.. but I've gotten it to where I can crank it pretty good and still enjoy.. I've been pulling the cover off and it helps a lot..

That's a model 18... I got that a few months back from a member here, in fantastic shape.. talk about a world of difference... I found a ton of stations with it I never knew existed with both of my newer tuners, and sounds a hell of a lot better..

WOW.. now that has got to be a great sounding system Ken... I didn't realize you were a Klipsch owner.. I'm jealous..

A few Pixs of my work in-progress:scratch2:
