Gave a talented woodworker I know a design to repurpose a console table I was using for the audio stand & repurpose 2 walnut planks into a 3.5" tt base. Ordered some spikes for the tt base & the bottom of the stand. Just need to raise the tv up 2" & hide the tv cables & I'm done.
A retirement present to myself & very happy with the results.

Yeah, I kind of liked the art deco look of the orig. stand and thought it was too nice to bin & wanted a dedicated tt stand. It was a long time since the orig idea to install but lovin' the results!Steampunk listening space

On the floor on either side of the sofa but most of them are in the basement. I also have a closet in another bedroom where the cds are stored.
Finally got my third subwoofer amplifier a Yamaha P 7000 S,flanked by two Yamaha P 5000 S pro audio, amplifiers and Dayton audio DSP for subwoofers duty and control of the 10 inch woofers in the ADS 1530.
Should be happy, but unfortunately while all this was coming together, I lost my Denon DCD 3300 CD player that was driving this whole combination. The spindle motor took a dump.

Finished re-doing the "office" , new Butcher Block Acoustics Midnight Maple four shelf rack and Monitor Audio Silver 500 7G speakers- sounds outstanding. I put the old three shelf rack in the bedroom- much nicer than the Pangea Vulcan racks I had in there before:

I sold off all my records. Then the empty record tracks went. Now it's the turntables to sell locally (central Massachusetts) as I have no boxes. Then the cartridges, the headshells, and finally it'll be the phono amp though I've got the original packaging for that.
I moved the two JL Audio E-112 subs inboard to fill space left by the record racks. We'll be selling this house in the spring to downsize, so more may have to go as well.

Bigger isn’t always better, whilst right-sized will always be.
It's still really good, just that when we downsize it is highly unlikely that I'll still have a dedicated music room where I'd have the space for the 3 record cabinets holding over 1000 records.
I'm very accustomed to having only digital music, so no big deal
