This is where I do the majority of my music listening these days:

Gave a talented woodworker I know a design to repurpose a console table I was using for the audio stand & repurpose 2 walnut planks into a 3.5" tt base. Ordered some spikes for the tt base & the bottom of the stand. Just need to raise the tv up 2" & hide the tv cables & I'm done.

A retirement present to myself & very happy with the results.

Yeah, I kind of liked the art deco look of the orig. stand and thought it was too nice to bin & wanted a dedicated tt stand. It was a long time since the orig idea to install but lovin' the results!

On the floor on either side of the sofa but most of them are in the basement. I also have a closet in another bedroom where the cds are stored.
