Pictures of Cats on Audio Gear Moved? What gives?

In my humble opinion, the thread is more about "cute" cat pictures than audio. I've no problem with its new location.

It's clear cut that thread is about "cute cats" the name of the thread is Pictures of cats on Audio Gear. Not sure how you say its one over the other... I think we can chalk that up to someone not understanding.
Your comments are welcome, just as they are in the actual thread. I think if your threads were relocated due to someone not caring about your input would give you a different perspective.
Most cat lovers understand that cats are not for all, what we dont understand is the mental folks who talk like they want to harm them. If that line gets crossed (and it has on the original thread) that's when the flams start to fly! LOL

Just because you do not want to see it does not mean others dont.
Like you stated, there are threads for that, this is a specific thread. If you look at it you will 100% for sure see cats.. My suggestion would be to not look pictures of cats if you dont want to see pictures of cats.. Not rocket science
The funny thing is that the folks who are on the fence, are alos commenting... Meaning you have enough interest to make a post on the subject...
Alos, since you stated you have " spent some time" in the thread, I'd suggest you reading the entire thread, there is good info to be obtained.
Lastly... I did not say you hated cats.
I was not implying you hated cats, I was cracking a joke at the crazy folks... your post is great, it sparks conversation.You are not the 1st person who has not gotten the point.
The point is information was moved for no reason. The subject of the thread is pointless, it could have been about cables... It was relocated for one reason or another.
So again, I say: Its regarding the move of information, not that actual pictures of cats.

Thanks! But Caliber is only "nice and comfy" when he's sleeping! Something like this.
Otherwise, Caliber is terrorizing the house! Running everywhere, attacking me, getting into everything he can. He loves to jump at you, or jump you from behind. Picture a Velociraptor, from Jurassic Park; Caliber will jump up on his hind legs, with both front paws extended, to lunge and grab you (kind'a like Hobbes with Calvin). And when not attacking, he likes to collect things. Always moving something or pushing something off of something else. Then if he finds interesting stuff, he'll bring it to you. The best, he drug a 12X16' sized plastic drop cloth from the upstairs Den, down the steps, across the living room, and up onto the master bedroom bed. Just to be nice, and bring us a present. But, Caliber watches out the living room window, every afternoon, looking for me. He gets so happy when I pull into the driveway, and runs across the house, to meet me as I come in the door. And unlike cats, in the thread under discussion, he never gets on my audio gear! So, I guess I can't complain, since he loves me!

Didn't mean to imply that you thought I hated cats. I was just making my perspective clear. I do understand that members who frequent the thread are upset with its relocation. On the other hand, it is still accessible in a different section of the site. The real question, in my mind, is, "who/what precipitated the relocation?"

Oh man, it sounds like he has a great little personality. Our B/W guy is a little crazy as well.
We crack up because he makes the sound of gizmo from the gremlins. When we 1st noticed/heard him doing it we were checking our house out for some sort of critter!
For a few weeks he would make his sounds at night and i could not figure it out.
One night i heard it, and jumped and ran to see what it was. He was standing in the middle of the kitchen floor. As we all do, I started talking to him asking him what the hell that sound was... He looked right at me and made the sound. It was an OH CRAP Moment!
I have been trying to record it for a good while now. He only will do it when he wants to.
But because of that, he now has a whole personality... well that we give him but it fits.. HAHA

Yea as you can tell, I went from a non cat person to full crazy cat manlady!

It belongs in general according to the rules of the site.

Cats are quite the little critters, aren't they? Smart and mischievous, and so sweet at the same time. While I've had dogs in the past, kitties are my thing now. I don't know if I take care of them, or that they take care of me? I guess it's both.
And I know about the weird kitty noises. Caliber sounds like a herd of horses when he's running through the house, making Star Trek Tribble sounds the whole time. And if I sleep too late, past his wake up time, he'll run through the bedroom, and howl, then up on the bed, back and forth a few times, and then back out. Caliber just making his presence known. Silly things. It's no wonder AK cat fans want the Cats on Audio Gear thread back into the mainstream. The gear and the kitties deserve it.

They are, and they do take care of us too. They provide unconditional love.
They sure have a way of growing on a person,And i 100% agree, for the folks who have added input over the years, should be able to access it in the same manner as before. Allowing others to stumble on the thread.

The thread is in General Off-Topic, which, having sampled many of the posts, is where it does belong. I didn't read any great quantity of posts where anyone was talking about how their cat affected the sound of their rig.
