Pioneer CS-A1000 ?

Does anyone have any info or opinions on these? Not much online. Might pick them up cheap just for fun.

Agreed. Although, I have on occasion been surprised by mass market crap.

I used to have a pair of CS-353s, they were my first speakers. Not offensive sounding, I preferred them to the AR18 speakers I compared them to in the shop, although being 1/3 of the price might have swayed that.

They aren't bad for what they are. They punched a few hundred dollars above their price point when new. Sometimes mass market can make a decent product expecially Pioneer they just can't market themselves out of a paper bag.

Works for me. I think if I can get them for about $40 or less I might mess around with them for a while with some low wattage amps- Sansui 441, NAD 3020.
