Pioneer CT-F1000 and CT-F950 Feet

Hi,

Both of my cassettes decks CT-F1000 and CT-F950 are missing feet. I don't use them in a rack; so, would like to replace the missing feet. Are there any generic plastic / rubber feet (similar to original parts in appearance) that would fit? Looking for suggestions before posting a WTB for original feet from parts units in the Bartertown forum.

Thanks,

A good hardware store may have something. Large Ace hardware stores have good selections from what I've seen.

If the holes are for machine screws you will need metric screws.

Hi Wattthour, thanks for link. I am guessing a 20 mm height rubber feet may work.

Hi blhagstrom, according to the service manual, the screws are tapping type. I will also try the local hardware stores.

Thanks,

Picked these plastic feet yesterday from Ace hardware just to test them along with some 4x10 (CT-F1000) and 3x10 (Ct-F950) Pan head tapping screws. Strangely, the 4x10 screws tuned out to be too thin for Ct-F1000 but fit well on CT-F950. The feet though a bit narrow fit well on CT-F950. Now, need to figure out the right diameter of the screws for Ct-F1000.

Most vintage feet will fit as long as the screw size is the same width. My Pioneer Spec 1 pre-amp came with no feet,so I unscrewed four off an old AKAI cassette deck which fitted perfectly.
