Pioneer CT F1000 Pinch Rollers

I had my deck refurbished recently and all went well except for the pinch rollers. Any suggestions? The tape still rolls up in the middle.

also make sure the capstan shafts are not dirty or glazed.

Thanks Mark. This was my father’s deck and he purchased new in ‘78. He passed in Feb and this is sentimental for me. Would really like to get it going.
