Looking at a Pioneer PL-550 on the bay............anyone have any experience with this TT?

Its not a bad table however I would go with a belt drive over a DD... It sure does look cool though...

the belt drive vs dd argument will continue forever, but the quartz locked dds are considered by many to be of the highest quality. motor vibration is pretty much nullified on these dds especially.

i bought one used and been using it for last 6 months, and works great. very well built with simple enough features. very reliable. i use shure v15 on it, and sounds great.
