Pioneer PL-61 help on tone arm dropping too fast.

Hi, I bought a Pioneer PL 61 turntable for $160. It’s in working condition but it’s not 100%. The tone arm drop too fast than normal when down button on is pressed. Can someone guide me to trouble shoot what’s the issue on cueing and how to check if anti-skate mechanism is work properly? Thanks.
