Yes sir. Pioneer did build some excellent equipment in the mid 70s. After re-capping an SA-9500, I am impressed with their circuitry and solid construction.

I have a SX 680 and I love the sound and faceplate but the case is pretty crappy compared to other brands from the time and price range. Overall though a pretty nice unit.
