hi guys
im currently trying to find out if im going down the right path I own an sx 1010 after a cap went on the power board im having trouble finding all affected areas of the receiver. So from what I can figure is I have a direct short on the left high output transistors (bank in heat sink near transformer) I believe I hav a high voltage problem on either the protection circuit board or the left power amp board im leaning toward the left power amp
here are the pin values I was able to get with my dmm
all in dc unless stated otherwise
left amp (Suspect)------------------- right amp (assume ok) protection board
1.-51.7____2-51.7___________10.01-------------11-50_______1-6.1mv----11+48.5
2.51.7____12.-50-------------------2.0.02------------12.-50_______2.+12.3-----12.7.6 acv
3.-53_____13.-53-------------------3.-53.0-----------13.0.5_______3.0.1
4.+75_____14.-51-------------------4.+4.9-----------14.0________4.0
5.0_______15.+52-------------------5.0---------------15.0________5.0.5
6.6_______16.+52-------------------6.0--------------16.0________6.0.5
7.+53_____17.-51--------------------7.+53-----------17.0________7.0
8.+50_____18.gnd-------------------8.+50-----------18. gnd______8.0.013
9.+50_____19.-51-------------------9.+50------------19.0.1_______9.2.8
10.+61____20.-51-----------------10.0.08------------20.0.1______10.48.5
I have a feeling that's its the left amp but im not sure if I need to fix any other board gonna place an order once I figure out if I need to do 1 board or all
also when I was on the power board I replaced just about everything on it I did take my time double checked pin location of what I was taking out as to what I put in
any insight as to if im going in the right direction and if im over looking something
