peace.love.and.music on eBay has good kits, and I would also recommend you buy the brand new stabilizer board from Delta 8 Electronics on eBay as well.

My only worry is that if you have the skills to redo a 1250, you really should have the skills to find your own parts.
I've seen too many of these with ruined boards and awful mods. Don't create another.

Mouser or Digikey. Master Electronics is also a good source for main filter Caps if Mouser or Digikey don't have. I found the prices at Master Electronics more affordable as well. Buy in bulk where it makes sense. Who knows you may rebuild your neighbors 1250.

Attached is a good start for rebuilds and building up the BOM of your choice, versus the BOM setup by ebayer. Having a good soldering iron, DMM are a must. Having a Oscilloscope and a function generator you now are a force to be reckoned with!

I'm experienced in restoration of units. I buy regularly from Ben/peace. He has quality goods and have been in contact with him today and he is putting together a package for a complete restoration.

Thanks it may cost a little more but is much easier for me to purchase a complete restoration kit.

Sounds like you have everything under control. Im not much into audio kits for vintage gear. But i do enjoy a good color by numbers Picasso.

I bought a complete restoration kit from peace.love.and.music on Ebay. $360 for everything including the 4 22,000 uf caps. All in plastic bags. Detailed restoration instructions, hints and tips. Wonderful person to deal with. I have asked several questions and Ben has answered all of them in a timely fashion. Saved me countless hours of searching on Mouser etc for parts, substitutions etc.

I am about 1/2 way done with my restore to a gifted 1250 that works but needs some love...and its getting that now!!
