Pioneer SX-1250

dial lamps: there is no difference between AM, FM, AUX and PHONO 1 & PHONO 2. nor SPEAKER A, SPEAKER B and SPEAKER C.
All run off the 5.4v dc supply. also be sure the switch contacts for each lamp are working.

@markthefixer which transistor replaces Q3 if it needed to be replaced? I looked on @mattsd SX-1250 recap thread and didn't see Q3 listed on the parts list.

I have spares on hand to replace C4 and Q4 if I need to. I may have a replacement for Q3, not sure which transistor it takes.

@markthefixer what would cause a slight buzzing sound on both channels? I recently hooked up a turntable and after that my sx-1250 has had a slight buzzing sound coming through both channels. The turntable is no longer hooked up, but the buzzing is still there. The buzzing only happens when I use the pre-amp section of the SX-1250. Using the power amp section with a different pre-am it does not have the buzzing.

Probable bad Diode 5 on Stabilizer board. I use ON Zener Diode 1N4738A. These boards always need a serious complete rebuild.
