Now I wish I'd have bought a 1280 a couple of years ago when I had the chance to - prices exploded and are unbearable high now. Also market for those big SX's is as good as empty (here in germany).
I did love to overhaul my 1080 (thread is somewhere here, is still running perfect, in use every day). I definetly would love to get into a 1280, get it into perfect condition and harvest all the acoustic sweets that follow.

One clean & sweet looking receiver. Of all the Pioneers, this is the one I've warmed up to the most. Love to hear one fully restored on the Klipsch Bell's.
