jwfabrie--I have an old sx-424 that i thought had needed a new input selector switch--contact cleaner just wouldn't work. It turns out that it had been used so much that the contacts were bent out of place--tiny screwdriver to push them where theyre supposed to be gets the job done. :yes: but its tedious, theres a lot of them. mine works great now though. good luck. :thmbsp:

I do wish it was Ok to post free equipment in the forums. I have thrown several pieces away because no one responded to the classified ads I had up. I bet if I could have posted in the forum it could have cought the eye of the right person. Isn't one of our goals to keep equipment out of the trash? :thmbsp: This time around I didn't even mess with an ad and just gave it all to rob.
