PIONEER SX-434 LIGHTS

Hey there -
new to this forum....

When I first owned this receiver, one of the fuse bulbs lit part of the fm/am frequency display. Yesterday I replaced all five fuse bulbs and fm/am pointer bulb and went to turn the receiver on thinking this would do the trick, and none of the lights turn on.

Could someone shed some light on this?
Cheers

I believe the bulbs are not all identical on this unit.... but not sure if that may be the issue. Also did you make sure the little contact wires were bent out slightly to ensure a good friction fit contact to the socket? Hope this may help? Those are warm sounding stereo units.

As none of the lights work, Go back inside and 1st check the FUSE(F7) for the lighting (use a meter as a visual is NOT a valid indicator) replace as necessary. Then check the solder joint where the power lead connects to the lighting buss.
