The left Channel looks off
The dim bulb looks correct

When you installed what you called the left power pack was this for the left channel?
When you installed this one you did not come out of protection correct?
What we could try is to remove the power pack that caused you to not come out of protect. Do you have a test speaker?
If so see if you get sound out of the one channel

What have you done on the GWR-101 board have you replaced any components if so which ones?

If you changed any of these verify installation.

The left power pack was for the left channel. With this one it came out of power protection. When I installed the right channel power pack is when it did not come out.
I did not install Q5, Q6, Q11 or Q12 but did install C21 and C22 with WIMA caps. C26 and C27 each got a 330/10 cap installed. Have verified correct orientation.
If you think the left channel is off why did it come out of power protection and then not with the right channel installed? Do you still wish me to remove the right channel and try for sound or do you think I ought to remove the left channel and see what happens? Thanks so much.

Sorry for the long absence. I un-soldered the right channel, loosened the board to swing it a bit away from the pins and had to straighten the power pack pins a bit. When I did this the tips on pins 4 and 6 broke off. I also had the trace pad from pin 4 come off the board when I used the solder sucker. I then tried it and it didn't come out of protect mode. I got frustrated, buttoned it back up and walked away until today. I opened it back up and rechecked the solder on the right channel power pack traces with a multimeter. 2 set of pin pads had solder connecting them I had failed to clean up so did just that. I had checked for shorts after installing the right channel pack so this was not an issue when I tried it with both packs installed. It now comes out of protect mode and I get a hum from the left channel speaker. The hum is constant and is unaffected by what component source is selected nor the volume knob. So now you know of my disappearance for the last 2 weeks. I'm fairly certain you weren't hanging over your computer awaiting my response.
Thanks for all the help so far.

I got a good used power pack for the right channel and installed it. The unit came out of protection mode. I then hooked it up and tested it with a CD player and the FM.
I still have a constant hum in the speakers as above and the music sounds like I'm not quite on a radio station so is breaking up. Left channel volume is much lower than right and every so often it goes into protection mode and then comes out of it in about 10-15 seconds. Also it was hooked up without the DBT.
Anyone have any suggestions as to where I go from here?
Thanks for any help on this.
