Just curious, do you know that the relay is actually bad? Sometimes I have known people to say that they think the relay is bad because it won't kick in, but it is actually ok and something else in the circuit is causing the unit to go into protection.

Very rarely have I seen those relays go bad. I _have_ seen the contact faces become quite oxidized and in need of cleaning. Extreme cases have required a contact file to knock off the grunge.
Typical symptoms of poor contacts are:
- Must turn up the volume to get sound from one or both of the channels.
If it isn't clicking........
If the relay's contacts are not being drawn to close when its control circuit engages it, then you have a different problem. I don't remember the exact details of the SX-737 but there are one or more power amp items that need to be judged as 'acceptable' before the circuit will engage the relay. Of course, failures on the control circuit board might be the problem.
I'd suggest you narrow down the problem - if not done so, first.
