My friend gave me a Pioneer SX-990 and it makes this noise. It is not constant and sometimes it is fine, but other times it cuts in and out.

Some things I can tell you, if it is helpful:
The noise only happens through Aux and Phono, not on radio/fm.
The actual female connection part are tight and the rca cables do not fit in without forcing (which I do not want to do)
