Pioneer upgrade: Changing cs-722a for HPM-60?

Hi guys, I've finally set (well, I hope for a while at least) my Pioneer equipment to be handled by a SX-880 amp, but my CS722A boxes feel kinda short.

I was hoping to upgrade them, while staying in the pioneer family. My options are HPM-60 and HPM-100, but I would say HPM-60 mostly, as the HPM-100s are way expensive. The HPM-60s are mostly mint (a slightly sunken cone only, no major issue).

The thing is, do you consider this to be a worthy upgrade? Would the speakers be enough for the SX-880 (I never overdrive them anyway of course)

The 60's are a great, under rated speaker. They do everything well, you will not be disappointed with them. They also take well over the rated power and pump out the clean, clear music. Great speakers!

Totally agree they are under rated. Not sure I agree they do everything well. At one time I had 100/60 and 40. The 100's are gone. The 60's, I have, are very rough. My plan is to build new cabinets, real wood AND mirror image. They're good enough to deserve such attention. Looking up the 722's I'm pretty sure you'll find the 60's a step up.
