Pioneer VSX-9500s motorized volume problem

Hello AK members ,

I opened a thread before asking for the value of vsx-9500s set in this thread

I got this set for 440$ and i am very pleased with it , i got some issues like the CD player was needing loading belts and has been change and working fine now also some cleaning for the tape deck and every thing working as it should now except one thing the motorized volume knob in the receiver , its working well manually but with the remote its not moving at all , i removed the cover and clean it from dust and with electronic spray cleaner but with no success so please if any one has experience about motorized volumes could guide me what to do , thanks .

Did you check the remote?
You can do so with a cell phone camera or web cam, using the volume buttons during the test. Just make sure the cam doesn't have IR filtering or it wont work.

Yea i know that trick
but you know the problem was from the motor itself , the person who own this system before i think he was not using the remote at all and the motor didn't work for many years probably from 25 years could you imagine that ( Check the picture i attached to see the condition of the remote and u will know what i mean ) so i removed the face of the receiver and the volume board and did another cleaning then it worked fine and smooth , thanks for your help .
