PL-L1000 - Repair in Texas?

My PL-L1000v has a couple of issues. I have the service manual but it's over my head and would rather have someone look at it. I hear it's a difficult table to fix, but I love the table. One channel on the power board has no output, I'm sure this is an easy replacement or fix but I would like to make sure everything is ok on down the line from the power board. The tonearm needs adjustment - Potentiometers need to be adjusted on the board with a scope. There's a great place in Austin but he will only do a complete overhaul on anything that comes through the door, he's very good, but $$$$$
Any recommendations?

Ever get your L1000 going?

I'm about to send it off here in the next week. Now looking for a recommended cart. When my 1000 went down I moved the Denon DL 110 over to my Pioneer PL-550. Recommendations? Really liked the moving coil. Service for my 1000 = $650 + any other issues. Ugh.

Just watching--
Have a PL-L1000A that ha been sitting for way to long...

Thx for the reply's. I believe it's going to New Jersey, recommendation of a long time gear collector that I bought my Marantz 3250b from. It would be great to find someone closer, and less $. $650 for a complete rehab + any other issues. Anyone have other resources that have worked on the 1000?

Save on Sound in Houston. Had him work on a Pioneer PL-71 a couple of years ago now. It’s been a rock solid performer since. Probably taking him my Yamaha CA-1010 in a couple of weeks for a complete rehab.

Taking my 1000 to Tapehead Electronics in Austin...........thanks for the recommend Ranch 22b. It may be a while but I'll post the outcome. I'll be looking for a new cart. Anyone know anything about the Microline stylus shape? I had a Denon DL 110 that I moved to my PL 550, Recommendations for my 1000. Similar $
