    Another PL-L1000 question

    I know getting an answer to this is a longshot, but does anyone know of a suitable replacement for the little white cap that covers the end of the tonearm bolt that fits in the v-groove of the elevation assembly? Without it, the tonearm flops around from side to side when in the up position.

    Pioneer PL L1000 Los Angeles area tech?

    I got my hands on one of these, not sure of it's history, but it's not tracking at all, stylus won't stay in the grooves. Bad optical tracker? Anyone know of someone who can work on this in the L.A. area? THANKS!!!
