Please help me identify these speakers.

I got these out of an old pair of G.E. speaker cabinets but they look like a better quality speaker. Can anyone help me identify these? The woofer is a 12 inch and the other 4 inches. Thanks.

Looks a lot like an old Goodmans driver from the front, but if you have a shot of the back, that would help a lot. I'll keep looking.

OK, been looking, and best I can tell, they're either Goodmans or Jensen. Both had a similar look. Here's a couple pics. First a pair of similar-looking Goodmans 18" woofers (I couldn't find any of the 12" ones like that, so I took the closest I could find):

And now here's a pair of old Jensens:

I can't tell for sure what you have. They do look an awful lot like old Goodmans full-rangers though, except without the treble unit sitting on top, obviously. It's tough though. Both Goodmans AND Jensen both made A LOT of drivers over the last 60 or more years. The Jensens were definitely used in those old GE cabs at one time or another because I've seen them pop up on Eek!bay like that. All I can say is, don't go giving them away until you know what they are. Vintage Jensens are quite the collectables (Soundwise, I'm more in line with the Goodmans sound than the Jensen sound though). Best guess, I'd say they're '50's Jensens.

Are these the same drivers that you are asking about from your other thread? You can try identifying them, yourself, here's the link to the speaker code pages. As I posted in your other thread, they are more than likely GE. Maybe Wharfedale made them for GE or maybe not. They are not some special Altec or Western Electric driver.

It's hard to tell because lots of companies used those red, accordian-style surrounds, including Jensen, University, Utah, Goodmans, and EV, among others. The drivers that I remember seeing that were pulled from old GE cabs had the whitish-colored gasket on the front, and the speakers were Jensens, but I can't seem to find a picture of the right one

Here's an EV KD12. Once again, close, but not quite-right:

*EDIT* - I'll add another here... Found this picture when I did a search for 12" Heppner woofers (The picture originally came from an old Ebait listing). Not sure if it's even a Heppner in the picture, but I have seen Heppner woofers that have similarities to the woofers in this pic, as well as the OP's woofer:

Small picture, but here's an old alnico Jensen woofer (Jensen Flexair 12", I believe) that looks just like yours (or the closest I could find after lots of searching). I think this might be the one:

I say look for whatever info you can find on the Jensen 12" Flexair woofer and all variations therein. I don't have an exact model #, but I'm fairly-certain that this is what you have (I saw a picture of a 10" alnico Flexair that looked exactly like yours, only smaller).

Perhaps the OP can post another picture maybe? That would really-help, since he clearly has the woofers in his possession.
